11:00 -11:30 KUNO intensive course “Intventory of Behaviours ” by Magnus Quaife (Uniarts)

OPTIONAL PROGRAMME:

14:30 - Optional tours (prior registration for the tours is mandatory. Please fill in the registration form by the 5th of October at the latest)

Option 1 : 14:30 - 15:30 The Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights (KGB museum) - 1 hour guided tour in English

Option 2: 16:00 - 18:00 Lukiškės prison - 1:30 - 2h guided tour in English

Lukiškės prison is probably one of the most interesting cultural phenomena in Lithuania because the former prison is transforming into a hub for music, modern art, design and culture. A community of around 300 artists, musicians, dancers and so on have started creating a new story of the prison in summer 2021.

Option 3: 14:30 - 20:00 Visiting the International Contemporary Art Fair in Vilnius

The art fair ArtVilnius’23 will take place between October 13–15. This year, the fourteenth edition will inhabit the three main halls and outdoor areas of the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre Litexpo, covering 12,000 square meters in total and consisting of 70 art galleries/institutions and 300 artists from 18 countries.


Saturday night is free for networking

KUNO pays an extra night in the hotel for those staying until Sunday.

Travel

Vilnius Airport is the biggest in Lithuania, located just 7 km from Vilnius city centre.

You could also consider flights to/from Kaunas airport, which is just 100 km away from Vilnius.

There are shuttle Ollex minbuses going from Kaunas airpot to Vilnius. Please check the schedule here.

Practical information

KUNO REIMBURSEMENT INFORMATION & SUPPORT

KUNO supports up to 3 participants to take part in the network meeting: 1 international coordinator, 1 teacher and 1 leader (dean/rector/head of department for network meeting). KUNO supports the 3rd night for those choosing to stay in Vilnius until Sunday for the networking night.

What is reimbursed? Following the annual meeting, each participating school should send an invoice to KUNO Secretary for reimbursement of travel and hotel.
How to invoice: Following the KUNO network meeting in Vilnius, your academy should send an invoice addressed to Vilnius Academy of Arts / KUNO. It should be sent by email: lina.koseleva@vda.lt / Reference: “KUNO Vilnius” . The invoice should include the names of participants and receipts of the purchased flight tickets and hotel. The invoice should be sent no later than end of Dec 2023.
